This is not just an ordinary sake.
It represents a unity of four traditional industries of Tochigi Pref.
Without our cultural climate, we wouldn’t have benn able to brew “Vintage Mongai Fushutsu.” To blend in all four guilds, we cloaked in Shimotsuke Shibori, enwrapped in a traditional Japanese purse made of Yuki Tsumugi, and enclosed it in an Oya stone crate.
We, as craftsmen, like to think that this collaboration of guilds is a reminder that we hold the responsibility to study the past and to inherit our knowledge, traditions and cultures down to future generations.
